Diesselweerd Art Gallery is housed in the historic former farm named "Diesselweerd" located on the outskirts of the Hanseatic city of Zutphen in the Achterhoek region in the Netherlands. The name Diesselweerd appeared in historical documents and probably refers to the floodplains of the IJssel river that meanders one kilometre away. The area around Diesselweerd was inhabited since ancient times, there are traces of Roman habitation found during recent archaeological research in the immediate vicinity. On two floors, we exhibit and sell sculptures in bronze and stone, digital paintings, glass art from, amongst others, Bertil Vallien and Marjan Smit, unique Navajo jewellery from Tommy Singer and more. There is ample parking space available. |
